The first few cycles of PCR are always the most important to successful amplification. We ensure that our mastermixes are never short of enough kick to start the first few cycles and powerfully continue your amplification. MegaMix Gold uses a superior, sensitive, hot start DNA polymerase which becomes active upon heating at 95C. This provides a highly specific and sensitive amplification without background or primer dimer formation. Our 2x mix contains 400 µM dNTP and 6 mM MgCl2 in Microzone’s proprietary PCR enhancing buffer.
Using Microzone’s own proprietary engineered PCR buffers, our mastermixes provide powerful, broad template amplification, giving the user confidence. PCR products generated are A-tailed and suitable for ligating into TA cloning vectors.
